If anyone is interested in going to the Breeders Cup this fall at Monmouth Park, we do have some applications to request seats. If anyone is interested, the applications must be submitted by June 29, 2007. The Breeders Cup weekend is October 26th and 27th. They have packaged the selections for both Friday and Saturday as one. Give Penny a call if you are interested and she can explain further.

My Belmont pick is Hard Spun with long shot pick Tiago. The Pletcher deal is kind of surprising as he is such a meticulous planner. He wasn’t going to run and then Street Sense jumps out and all of the sudden he is going to run. Which is kind of uncharacteristic for him. Anyway, Good Luck to all on Saturday!
Amature’s Prize
The stables started June out great by winning the $45,000 Indiana First Lady Stakes at Indiana Downs with Amature’s Prize. This was her second start this year. If you recall, Amature’s Prize won two stakes last fall at Hoosier Park and was named Indiana Bred 2-year-old filly of 2006. Seems like she has come back as good as last year and is looking to improve coming out of this race.
She is owned by Jim & Scott Farrar of Texas and Penny Lauer. Congratulations!
