RING RING RING

Two Year Old Home bred RING RING RING ran a winning race at Hoosier Park last night breaking her maiden with her second lifetime start. As a young horse here on our farm, we could always spot her from a distance with those distinctive markings on her tail.

Weekend Winners

It was quite a busy weekend in the life of Sports and Horse Racing. We ran mid pack in the Indiana Oaks with home bred AMATURE’S PRIZE. She ran her race and she ran hard, but we basically took a pistol to a shotgun competition. We fared better in New York on Saturday, as we sent MOR CHANCES to Belmont from Churchill the other day to run a mile on the Turf in an allowance race. It was his first time on the grass, but we knew it wouldn’t be a problem for him as his mother loved the grass. This makes his second win in New York this year. He paid $45.00 to win, $21.00 to place and $14.20 to show. We also won a two year old maiden race at Mountaineer Park tonight with the filly BLACK DRESS for owners Mike Fromma, Fred Hall, Jim Thompson, Ken Wood and Penny Lauer. She paid $26.40 to win, $7.60 to place and $6.20 to show.
