Acting Blonde Filly by Pure Prize
Seems like we’re having babies born nearly every day. Wanted to share some images I made on the farm yesterday with you throughout the week. Enjoy!
Scatman brings home a close second!
We ran SCATMAN in the Glll Southwest Stakes today at Oaklawn Park going one mile for owners JEOG Stables LLC. They split the race with 21 entries and of course we got in the tougher half with the Breeders Cup Juvinile Sprint Winner Secret Circle.
This was the first time we ever ran two turns and ran a great second getting beat only 1/2 length.
We were 5 1/2 lengths in front of the third horse. Our division ran a full second faster than the first division (which was also won by a Bob Baffert trained horse).

Phantom Fury Update
Phantom Fury ran in the $50,000 WEBN Stakes going 1 mile at Turfway Park on Saturday and finished 2nd for owners Smokey Lynne Bare and Dr. Ira Mersack. This is a nice 3 yr. old colt that is providing a lot of entertainment for all his fans.
Two for Two at Oaklawn Park Today!
GOODNESSGRACIOUSME won the 5th race ( Allowance for Filly’s and Mares OT $42,000 purse) at Oaklawn Park for owners Margaux Farm, Norb & Karen Paulin and Penny Lauer. She got up there to win by a neck. She paid $24.40, $13.20, $6.20. This puts the stable over $100,000 in purse money for 2012.
