Two for Two of the Twos

The stable won another 2 year old race tonight at Indiana Downs. MISTER POLLARD won his second time out going 5/8ths Open Maiden Special. He is a Indiana Bred colt that we bred in Indiana and raised on our farm in Finchville, Kentucky. His owners are W.Scott Farrar, James Farrar, Falcon Racing Stable (Mike Johnson, Tony Medley et al) and Penny Lauer. Two 2 yr. old winners in two days. Both second time out.

2-Year-Old Winner!

We won our first Two Year Old Race tonight with a homebred colt named AFT. He is a Indiana Bred by Mizzen Mast that was raised on our farm. He won a open Maiden Special at Indiana Downs and because he was an Indiana Bred his portion of the purse was as if the race was for $49,000 rather than $35,000.

Great day at the races

Great Day at the races. Especially if your a Hoosier Bred as we won three Stakes Races at Indiana Downs tonight. All were homebred’s and raised on our Shelby County farm.

DREAMIN BIG won the 10th Running of the Florence Henderson and set a new course record and paid $6.60 $3.40 $2.60. She also set a track record as a two year old going  5/8ths on the dirt at Hoosier Park. With this win tonight she went to $445,000 lifetime earnings, which makes her our highest earner that we have trained entirely.

SNEAKIN AWAY won the 10th running of the A.J. Foyt for owner/breeder Jerry Merritt and Penny Lauer paying $29.60 $12.20 $8.40.

JOINT TENANT won the 10th Running of The Govenor’s paying $61.80 $22.20 $13.80.
We also finished 4th and 5th in the 10th Running of the Indiana First Lady with DINGALINGALING and HARBOR CAT. Both suffered from horrible post positions and some wide turns.
A guy once told me you have to gamble on something everyday, because if you don’t it might have been your lucky day and you would have never known it.

Stable is at 25 wins Purse winnings over $700,000.

Half a Mil!

The stable has gone over a half million dollars in earnings for 2013 and we hope to boost it a lot more tonight. This is a big day at Indiana Downs as they offer over $600,000 in Indiana Bred purse money. If you want to get in on the fun, we have a few Indiana Breds we would be willing to sell either partially or wholly. Give me a call!
