Woodward Stake

I meant to get this out earlier in the week, but we all know "the best laid plans" don't always come together. I do want to say that Macho Again has been training exceptionally well at Churchill the last couple of weeks and had a great work and came out of it great. I do think he will definitely be in the exacta if not win the whole thing.

Four Wins for Lauer Racing

We had four winners this weekend. A big weekend. MS. RED HAWK a second time 2 yr. old starter broke her maiden. TRUST N SEVEN won the Merrilville Stake at Hoosier Park for her 5th win in eight starts. A redemption for the stewards ridiculous DQ of her last month. HEY THERE CUPCAKE won an allowance, non4 at Hoosier which took her over $100,000 in earnings. All three are homebreds and were raised in Finchville on our farm. The fourth win was yesterday with WRIGLEY IVY in her third start won by an impressive 10+ lengths at Ellis Park for owners Jack Danehy, Ralph Piercy, Terry Ward, Barry Ward, Steve Yamaguchi, Mary Ann Barth and Kenneth Agronin. We also ran a bang up third at Woodbine in Canada for $40,000 with QUEBEC CITY, a colt owned and bred by Ralph Piercy and Penny Lauer which put him very close to $100,000 in earnings.
