After 18 races I am tied for leading trainer at Turfway Park with one win. A rainy night and SMILIN IN BARBADOS got there first.

Cyber Monday
Cyber Monday! Good day to buy a piece of a horse. Check out our For Sale Section on the website and give me a call. This is December so to get those tax breaks you need to buy before the first of the year.
Racing and Football!!!!
Good college football game today. It starts out with Michigan at Ohio State. My Michigan Alumni Friend says this is the coaches last game for Michigan. He will be fired right after the first of the year (do to how the contract was written). Michigan has been on a downward spiral since they ran Lloyd Gardner out who only won like 80% of his games. Now they are going to be looking for a coach but it doesn’t really matter as they are now the #2 team in the state as Michigan State has leap frogged them. You know its cold up there to start with. Maybe they can switch coaches with Notre Dame as he looks like he could be unemployed by Christmas too.
U of L and Kentucky. Big game in Louisville. They want to move up the bowl poll. Louisville should win.
Florida and Florida State. Everyone wants Florida State to lose, including me. You have to root for Florida. (another coach who is already out of a job)
Big night game, Auburn vs. Alabama. Alabama will get revenge from last year.
IU vs. Purdue and a match of who can get the fourth win of the year.
Notre Dame vs. Southern Cal
Mississippi State at Mississippi . Mississippi State will win.
Wisconsin will beat Minnesota and be the Big 10 West winner. Then will meet Ohio State next week in Indianapolis.
Oregon will beat Oregon State
Good racing today as well. Churchill and New York have big programs and California Chrome runs in California on the grass today.
Mister Pollard wins The Too Much Coffee Stake
It was a big day for the stable on November 1, Breeder’s Cup Day. The classy little colt MISTER POLLARD won the $150,000 Too Much Coffee Stake beating older horses for his owners W. Scott Farrar, Jim Farrar, Falcon Racing and Penny Lauer. He has an amazing attitude. Doesn’t get excited, just handles himself with class all the way around with everything he does.
It was an exciting race and finish. If you didn’t see it live last Saturday, you should go watch the replay. Falcon Racing and their guests were so sure of his victory when he crossed the finish line. Even though they were standing about 20 yards before the finish line. There was no question in their mind that Mister Pollard was the winner. That was great, but I watched the last step on the TV and I wasn’t quite as convinced as they were. One thing the actual wire is about 4 foot past the center of the finish line post, and the way a fan would stand is not the angle that the wire is. It can be quite deceiving. Results of head bobs is one of the reasons I no longer have a full head of hair.
