Rockin’ Rockstar & Ghost Chapel win!

CONGRATULATIONS!!! ROCKIN’ ROCKSTAR won at Presque Isle Downs on Saturday taking his yearly earnings to over $110,000 and his lifetime to over $250,000. He is a homebred for owners Jack Danehy, Ralph Piercy, Terry Ward, Barry Ward, Kenneth Agronin, Steve Yamaguchi and Mary Ann Barth. This was his 7th lifetime win and all have been on synthetic tracks. Two at Turfway Park and five at Presque Isle Downs, Erie, Pa. which is a tapeta track.

Tim James and Penny Lauer had a winner with GHOST CHAPEL on Friday Night at Hoosier Park. We claimed this horse at Churchill this past spring for $8000.

WHISTLIN’ JEAN ran third at Hoosier Park in the Merrillville Stakes missing 2nd by a nose. She has lost about $100,000 in photo decisions this year. She just can’t get a break. Two noses, a head and a neck. Yikkes!

We are just $15,000 short of a million in stable earnings for 2011 with 37 wins to date. With any luck we hope to pass that by closing Wednesday.

All the Glimmers

Wire to wire at Presque Isle for Pennsylvania bred ALL THAT GLIMMERS who was a $4700 buy back at the Fasig-Tipton Eastern Fall Yearling Sale.  This was her second start (finishing 4th the first time she ran) running today in a Maiden Special PA Bred for a $39,000 purse and winning by seven lengths.  Owned and bred by Penny Lauer and Ralph Piercy.
