Trivia Question for the day:
Since Mike Smith has now chosen Omaha Beach over Roadster for the Kentucky Derby and F. Geroux has picked up the mount of Roadster for the Derby, will this prove to be a bad choice or a good choice?
In the early 60’s one Hall of Fame rider picked two horses in two Derby’s to ride, only to watch the non chosen horses to run by him on the first Saturday in May by another Hall of Fame Rider.

I am thinking tha Bill Shoemaker Gabe up the mount on Northern Dancer to Bill Hartack though the rider change happened after the Florida Derby. Shoemaker won the Florida Derby on Northern Dancer, not to ride him again.
